Hi, folks! We're trying something a little new (to us) here, and pushing patches to a publicly-accessible test branch before they go live. To that end, 1.30.3 - the successor to the less-than-great 1.30.2 - is now available for testing. To get into the test branch:

  • Right click 20XX in your Steam Library, click Properties

  • Click the Betas tab in the window that appears

  • From the dropdown, select "20xxtest"

  • You'll know it worked if 20XX's entry in your Library reads "20XX [20xxtest]" instead of just "20XX"!

Notes below - 1.30.3 is primarily a bugfix patch, but we're trying to narrow down the cases of a few users reporting crashes on pressing Play at the main menu. Thanks for reading! -- Update, August 9: The play! button issue has been resolved, as has an issue with control rebinds. -- CHANGES:

  • Draco now has a Stats page.

FIXES:

  • Fixed a late-game crash that could occur when loading into a new level.

  • Force Resonator now properly works with Ace's melee attacks.

  • Draco's Supercharged Volt Edge now properly stuns enemies.

  • Fixed a few tile errors.

  • Deconstructor's Might no longer triggers retaliation attacks.

  • Fixed an issue causing some Blender settings to not be reset after game completion.

  • Kingseeker now prevents picking up HP items altogether, even if they were on the ground (or in an already-spawned Health Machine) when Kingseeker was picked up.

  • Fixed an issue allowing characters to pick up Weapons that don't belong to them.

  • Fixed an issue where games hosted by a Revenant would cause bad Weapon chest drops when the other player was not using a Revenant.

  • Fixed an issue where Draco could end up with Too Many Charges (toooo many chaaaarges).

  • Fixed an issue causing Volt Edge to destroy projectiles with Armatort's Core without charging it or having a Force Resonator.

  • Capped screen shake in certain outrageous cases to prevent game freakouts.

  • Crisis Lifebank now obeys the sacred laws of Save and Quit.

  • Fixed an issue causing Draco's power slot in the Pause menu to display the text of whatever was selected before if he doesn't have a Power yet.

  • Fixed Hawk and Draco's run completions not properly counting towards Contender.

  • Fixed a bug where Draco's Peacebringer wouldn't reset its combo state.

  • Fixed a bug causing the boss hallways to fail to draw while in Eternal Star or Death Lotus' boss rooms.
