addedNew CharactersHere's a small teaser for some of the upcoming new characters!
addedNew Ways to Power Up Your RunsI'm introducing some new systems that'll add more build variety to the game. A quick sneak peek:
addedMajor Upgrade Perk OverhaulI mentioned this in a previous post, but almost all upgrade trees are getting some perks reworked as well as a ton of new upgrade perks are being added. Here's the revolver with some of the new upgrades in action:
addedEndless Mode ReworkSome people were concerned from my last news post, when I announced that endless mode is getting removed. So I wanted to clarify that endless will not be a separate mode anymore, and instead, at the end of each won run, you'll have the option to "loop". Starting a new loop, you keep all of your upgrades, and the pool of available upgrades is replaced with a completely different and new set of special upgrades that can be stacked endlessly.
addedPerformance ImprovementsI'm rewriting a significant portion of the game's code-base to utilize Unity's DOTS (Data-Oriented Technology Stack), which will drastically improve the game's performance. It should make the game run smooth and lag-free even on low end PCs or the Steam Deck. This is a substantial time investment, and is a major reason why the new patch is taking a while.
changedPerformance ImprovementsThere's currently no ETA on the release date for the next patch. Thanks for waiting patiently, and I hope you all enjoy playing the game in the mean time!
