Why do we need the Public Test?
World of Warships is constantly evolving. Every day, our specialists work on the implementation of new updates and improvements. They concern not only the emergence of new ships—every game entity is improved, from the visual effects to technical characteristics. But before showing our new features to the world, we carefully evaluate their quality through testing.
Before introducing new features, our developers need the help of the community. Some testing stages simply cannot be carried out without your participation. You have a special passion for World of Warships, and you love to dive into the details and study the minutiae of everything. Each person is unique and comes up with their own ways of interacting with the game. This can lead to unexpected consequences that developers need to look into. By doing so in the testing stage, they have the opportunity to correct any shortcomings in good time. Sometimes, the test results directly influence our decisions about whether to introduce changes to the Live Server or to hold and finalize them. Feedback from testers helps us fix bugs and improve every next update of the game.
To participate in the Public Test, you need to log in using your main account details. To do that, select "Public Test" in the Game Instance menu of the Wargaming Game Center.

Earn Community Tokens
The Public Test is not just a way you can touch the development process of World of Warships. You can earn Community Tokens.

Community Tokens are a special resource that can be accumulated and exchanged for valuable in-game items, including unique Recruiting Station containers, under a special tab in the Armory. [hr]
Choose Your Reward
During Round 1 of the 0.11.3 Public Test, you can earn up to 2,500 Community Tokens on the Live Server, and up to 5,000 Tokens for participating in both rounds. This will be enough, for example, to purchase a permanent camouflage for New York and a set of combat signals in the Armory. The details can be found in a separate article.
You have the ability to independently choose the in-game items that suit you best instead of receiving fixed rewards. You can purchase the following items for Community Tokens right now:
