addedWhat’s this? Two patches in one week? I guess we are feeling weirdly productive during Next Fest! We've now added something we've been wanting to try for a while: Twitch chat integration . Plus a big expansion of trinkets and a bunch of fixes that we hope will make the game feel noticeably smoother .
addedWe've also added a lot of new trinkets, bringing the total to 56. Since trinkets drop randomly from chests during a run, there's now a much wider pool of effects you might encounter. Some runs you'll get trinkets that complement each other nicely, others will push you in unexpected directions. That unpredictability is part of what makes each run feel different, and we think the expanded pool really helps with that.

Streamers, this one's for you! When you level up, your Twitch chat can now vote on which upgrade they think you should pick. The vote is a suggestion, the streamer always makes the final call. But it's a fun way to get your community involved in the run. We're curious to see how people use it!

General fixes and improvements

  • Audio ducking now properly follows your volume sliders instead of causing a volume spike when resuming.

  • Sound effects were assigned to the wrong mixer group, meaning they didn't respect the volume settings. Fixed.

  • Aiming and auto aim have been improved, especially for mouse and keyboard players. This was a common piece of feedback and it should feel better now.

  • The Hefty power now correctly shows its upgrade stats at levels 2 and 3 in the level up menu.

  • Fixed an issue where you could accidentally click through and select a skill during the level up screen.

  • The treasure chest menu could sometimes get stuck and refuse to close. That's sorted.

  • Removed the 120fps hard cap from the menu and town scenes.

If you spot something off or have an idea, please drop it in our Discord or leave a comment. We read everything and it genuinely helps us prioritize what to work on next. Please know that due to the massive amount of feedback we can’t always reply to everyone, but we try our best!

And if you're enjoying Wielders, a wishlist or a review goes a long way for a small team like ours.
