addedI also decided just last week that I was adding too many “new things” that probably didn’t add that much to the final experience, so I am officially committed to a feature lock soon and to solely finish up the story events, lore, and environments. After that period of production, it will be bug fixing, motion capture, and voice acting... then the game is done! So don’t think that I want to noodle on this thing my whole life, because in reality I am really, really, REALLY excited to finally finish this thing and let people experience the horror and emotion of We Harvest Shadows. I can’t wait honestly.
changedI will probably wait to make any trailers or any big announcements until I have a solid launch day planned. I’m lucky because I have the security to focus on just making the game good instead of concurrently marketing and begging for wishlists... it’s you, the amazing fans, who have secured my future with so many wishlists and followers on Steam. THANK YOU AGAIN!!

Hi friends, David here, and yes, I am still alive! I am still working on We Harvest Shadows almost every day. I have six contractors who are helping lots too. I just wanted to post something and let you know that this isn’t a dead game... it’s just something I want to take my time on and to make sure it’s bug-free, fun, and memorable. We’re getting closer to reaching that goal each day.

I will admit that this game is much more complicated than I thought. This has been by far the most complex project I have ever endured. Some days are not very fun and I start to question all my life choices up to this point... but some days are full of pure inspiration. I get genuinely excited thinking about how you, the player, will react to all these crazy things we’re planning for you! I am sacrificing a lot to make sure I finish this project, so just know I’m doing my best and I think the game will be very good when it’s done.

I don’t have a public release date yet; I’m sorry if that’s annoying to hear. I do have an internal deadline in my head that I plan to stick to, but so many things could change, and I don’t want to disappoint people if something unexpected happens. So, the official launch date is “when it’s done.”

Now all that’s left is to make a good game! So easy! 😉 OK, back to work. Thanks for reading.

Sincerely,

David
