Hey everyone! Verve 0.4.6 is out and playable through the Verve demo! Overall, the update increases framerates by roughly 50% and stabilizes 1% lows, resulting in significantly fewer stutters and a smoother experience.

This update brings many improvements: - TAA no longer on by default
- removed DLSS
- SMAA is now the default AA method
- added anti-aliasing options to the settings menu
- optimized APV (huge performance gains)
- lightmaps are up to ~27% more memory efficient thanks to xAtlas lightmap packing
- DX12 is default graphics API, Vulkan graphics API now included as a fallback proceeding DX11
- fixed jitter when holding/manipulating rigidbodies (issue with Cinemachine and physics steps)
- high tier graphics setting no longer uses ray-traced global illumination and reflections
- simplified settings tiers
- various texture/model fixes and changes
- IL2CPP is updated, the annoying hitches and stutters upon startup should be shorter and less frequent now
- footstep system is no longer frame dependent, now it's distance based
- updated footstep sound effects, less delay, more consistent volume, no artifacts
- added ambience audio slider
- added SFX audio slider
- various UI changes/fixes/improvements
- there's now a settings reset button
- eliminated shader comp stuttering via a flythrough camera during scene loading
- fixed some hints not showing entirely
- nextbot vision is fixed, previously any trigger would enable the chase player behavior
- fixed a case where the objective system would incorrectly show 2 objectives at once, causing them to overlap
- improved objective text and formatting
- the Discord RPC is removed until further notice
- added an initialization scene to fix hitches and stutters while the main menu assets load in
- fixed a bug where certain resolutions could cause dimming of the game output (issue with Unity and display swapchain)
- added more fullscreen options (Windowed, Fullscreen Windowed, and Exclusive Fullscreen)
- added a native resolution option, which is also selected by default now
- settings now load on startup of the game
