Hi UNO™ Players,

We are back with another update. Following our previous ‘tech patches’ on November 5th and November 20th, we are releasing Tech Patch #3 today.

We want to be transparent with you: we know the game still hasn't been where it needs to be. At Snap Finger Click we read your reviews, forum posts, and your Discord messages. We know that the crashes, input bugs, and freezes have been frustrating, and we are working flat out to fix them.

This patch is a big one. We have focused heavily on "Soft Locks" (where the game gets stuck mid-match), Crashes, and Input Issues (mouse/touch not responding).

Here is what we fixed in this update:

🛑 Crashes & Freezes (Stability)

  • OnlineFixed an issue where the game could display +0 and desync.
  • UNO Show ‘em No Mercy™ DLCFixed a soft lock where the game would get stuck if a player held a Reverse card of the same color after receiving a +4/+6/+10 penalty.
  • Skip n’ FlipFixed an issue where the game could desync or get stuck after declining a skipped +4 Wild card challenge.
  • UNO Valhalla™ DLCFixed a crash that occurred during online gameplay with a full lobby.
  • OnlineFixed a crash that happened randomly and where players were presented with an incorrect “Connection Time Out” error message.
  • AIFixed an issue where an AI player could become stuck after a draw card was played.

🎮 Controls & Gameplay

  • Mouse InputFixed a frustrating bug where the mouse would stop working if the only playable cards in your hand were ones you just drew.
  • Stacking Fixes:

  • 1) Fixed an issue where players couldn't stack cards when playing the UNO Valhalla™ DLC.

  • 2) Fixed an issue preventing players from stacking a +2 card via touch input.

  • 3) Fixed an issue preventing mouse users from drawing a card if they had the option to stack a +4 or +2.

  • 4) Fixed an issue where stacking cards weren’t highlighted when it was the player’s turn.

  • Skip n' Flip LogicFixed a bug where players were incorrectly given "Challenge/Decline" options for Skip/Reverse cards if they had previously been hit by a +4.
  • SkippingFixed an issue where a player’s turn could be skipped for no reason.
  • End ResultsFixed an issue where multiple players would be listed as being in 1st place on the end of match screen.

🚫 Exploit Fixes

  • The "Timer Skip" ExploitFixed an issue where players could avoid drawing cards from a +2 or +4 by remaining inactive until the timer ran out.
  • Infinite CoinsFixed an exploit where coins were awarded continuously during the end-game screen.

🎨 Visuals & Audio

  • Theme MusicFixed the "Winter Theme" and "Alien World" music tracks not playing correctly in MyDesign.
  • UNO Valhalla™ DLC ThemeFixed a visual bug where the screen hue would turn green during matches.
  • StoreFixed misaligned borders on some of the cards in the Store.
  • Player PortraitsFixed a bug where your player portrait would briefly glitch into another player's portrait.
  • The Cut-out Island boardFixed a visual bug where the board looked saturated and had overlapping elements.

What We Are Working on Next

This patch tackles multiple player-reported bugs, and we’re incredibly grateful to all the players who have helped us isolate these issues. We are a small, independent team, but we are fully committed to getting this right.
