I'm positively surprised you guys are finding Underneath Demo in the vastness of Steam games, especially while I haven't done any marketing at all yet!
You are the true unpolished gem finders, well fit for a dwarven explorer!
As I'm developing Underneath solo after-hours for a few years now, I figured I will release the demo during the Medieval Steam Fest and see what happens. It's still unfinished, but playable. Keep in mind that due to the early stages of development, your save games will stop being compatibile with major updates to the game files.
But I've created Underneath: Dwarven Artifacts to be a replayable experience, so I hope you will find fun with starting again, as much as I enjoy it still after years of testing!
I'm planning on finishing the demo until October 2026 Steam Next Fest (Octoberfest? :) )
I will keep updating it, focusing mainly on combat, story and fortress location.

Here is a changelog for version 0.1.8a. I've been focusing on fixing bugs I encountered and saw while watching some gameplay videos from the demo, like this one:

It's darker now
Added shader preloading so there will be fewer stutters
Changed how beard is rendered on player character view
Dungeon re-generation should take less iterations now
Ores can now spawn in corridors too
Reworked item drops from destroying stone objects (less stone from ores for example)
Minor changes
Stone have less hp now
Jump sound changed, jump is a bit higher now
Drinking alcohol when full added to inebriety factor
Could've used ores and ingots in inventory without smelter opened
Ore translations, graphic preset options, trainer dialogue
Adding multiple Torg quests by translating tutorial room note
Holding interactions (like getting oil from wall "lanterns"
Secret door opening smoke (on medium+ quality) visibility
Closing guard dialogue prevented getting "talk to bookmaster" quest
