New Features
New Great One: The Wild Boar Great One comes with 9 fur variations and many variations of tusks, built with our TruRACs system.
New Multimounts: Buck and Brock, Claw and Order, Mischief Syndicate, and Boar Boys.
- Trophy CustomizationPlaques and stands can now be customized. We’ve added 16 new plaques and 40 new stands for everyone. You can also now also change their appearance. We've also added 2 new Wall Plaques for the Layton Lake Trophy Cabin.
Improvements and Adjustments
- Trophy Lodge UI OverhaulTo make sorting and placing your trophies easier, we've added filters for finding trophies, additional information in the Selection UI, and a preview in the UI when placing a trophy.
- RemastersThe Red Deer, Wild Boar, and Roe Deer are all getting remastered. We've also added fur variations (3 for Red, 2 for Boar, and 2 for Roe) and adjusted the likelihood of the furs appearing.
12GA Adjustments: 12GA Birdshot and 12GA Slugs no longer require the Shotgun skill to use, which should make bird hunting more accessible for all players in the early game.
Bug Fixes
Animals
Fixed an issue where waterfowl would spawn too close to ground in Multiplayer.
An issue where waterfowl on Alberta could get stuck circling and never land has been resolved.
Snow Geese and Wild Boars should no longer switch their Mating calls with their Warning calls.
On lower graphics settings, Red Foxes and Male Western Capercaillies should no longer turn invisible at longer ranges.
Fixed an issue with initial Need Zone selection for Lions, Gemsbok, and Bengal Tigers.
Some issues with a number of species where the blood marker for a vital hit wasn’t showing correctly have been fixed.
Scores for Stubble Quail and Snow Geese have been adjusted to more accurately reflect their weight ranges.
Fixed an issue with the Northern Pintail, Wood Duck, and Snow Goose that would cause them to flee longer than intended.
Clipping issues on some of the Pheasant’s trophy poses have been fixed.
Fixed some issues with Vertebrae on Blacktail Deer.
Fixed an issue with the female Sika Deer’s eyes.
Red Deer and Bison trophies can now be placed on smaller trophy platforms.
Renamed the Willow Ptarmigan “Red” plumage to “Erythristic”.
Dog
Fixed an issue where a dog tracking blood could occasionally get stuck and stop following the track.
Equipment
Decoy tooltips for new birds on Alberta will no longer display as “Mallard” decoys.
Fixed an issue where Northern Pintail and Snow Goose decoys would make a water splash effect when deployed on land.
Only the host will be able to manage their own Game Feeder in Multiplayer.
The warning icon on Game Feeder should now display correctly after they are remotely refilled.
Fixed an issue where animals attracted to an inaccessible Game Feeder could behave inappropriately.
Beavers will no longer instantly destroy tents placed in a particular spot on Yukon.
We made it more difficult to accidentally dismantle the Bait Barrel.
Gameplay
Fixed a specific location on Alberta where Beavers could get stuck
An issue where clues would occasionally spawn above the ground at a weird angle has been fixed.
Fast-traveling in multiplayer should now spook animals as intended.
Missions
The “Second Home” Mission on New England Mountains will now progress properly even if you died during the bear encounter.
The “Beaver Fever” Mission on Alberta can no longer be completed by repeatedly picking up the same beaver wire over and over.
