Part 1 - A Haunted Holiday Atmosphere (Begins December 18th)

Every contract location has been transformed with snow, decorations, and festive details, letting you get cozy with your favorite ghosts—if you dare.

New Headquarters Location — Winter Lodge (December 18th)

A warm refuge wrapped in falling snow, the Winter Lodge HQ blends rustic charm with quiet unease.

New Contract Location — 317 Aspen Heights (December 19th)

Explore a partially renovated 1970s home where construction uncovered a dark and forgotten past. Exposed walls, abandoned tools, and escalating paranormal activity reveal a presence that never truly left. She is no longer a child—only the echo of someone who grew up in the shadows… still waiting.

Part 2 — Elf on a Shelf & Candy Canes (December 21st)

Celebrate the season together with the Elf on a Shelf HQ furniture piece.

• Place your Elf anywhere in your HQ

• Visiting players can interact with it to earn Candy Canes

• HQ owners receive Christmas Presents under their tree instead

• Open presents at your Christmas Tree to claim Candy Canes

Candy Canes can be exchanged for:

• Christmas Presents

• Double XP Tickets

• Cold Hard Cash

• Event cosmetics and furniture

You can earn Candy Canes by:

• Interacting with other players’ Elves

• Opening gifted presents

• Completing contract objectives

• Playing in developer lobbies (bonus rewards!)

A new session browser filter lets you search specifically for HQs that are in the Christmas Spirit.

Part 3 — Hans Trapp Effigies (December 23rd)

The holidays take a darker turn with the arrival of Hans Trapp Effigies.

These twisted effigies empower the ghost while they remain:

• More frequent hunts

• Faster hunt speed

• Fewer interactions and reduced evidence

• Investigators lingering near effigies may be revealed

Effigies are UV-reactive, rewarding observant investigators. Destroying them weakens the ghost—collect them all to fully break its power and gain a major advantage.

• Novice difficulty is protected from extreme effects

• Effigy collection and flawless photos reward Candy Canes and cash

• Each location features a unique number of effigies
