While this update has been a long time coming, we have been busy like bees! 😇🐝 We have some exciting news to share with you!
First of all: Thank you so much for all of your incredibly helpful feedback when playing the «The Guardian of Nature» demo 🙏. We are so grateful that thousands of people have played the demo and that so many of you took the time to write down your thoughts, your play experience, what you liked and how we could improve the game. And we did! Many of you told us that there were these key things that you would like to see in the game:
✅ ✨ More story and background about The Guardians of Nature and the mission of Henry. ✅ 🧩 Hint system for puzzles. ✅ 🗺️ An in-game navigation to explore and visit all the environments. ✅ 🎛️ Quality of life improvements like more settings for sound and music. ✅ 🌸 More music tracks to change between environments.
Introducing: The Book of Nature! 📔 Many of the above points have been addressed by the creation of The Book of Nature, which tells the story of «The Guardian of Nature» through a beautiful fairytale-inspired narrative. Throughout the game, you will regularly find and collect "Nature Cards", which unlock new pages in the book 📔. They tell you more about the ancient wisdom of the Guardians of Nature, the interconnectedness of nature, and give you hints on how to continue your journey.
Once you have accessed locations, they become accessible in The Book of Nature 📔. A map helps you to navigate and understand how environments are connected 🗺️.
In addition: We will be releasing a new and updated demo of the game very soon, alongside a Kickstarter campaign that we are currently preparing.
