A lot has happened since our last update and dev stream at the Storyteller’s Festival. We have been slow on updates and we want to change that!

We are hard at work and we want to give you some regular updates on what we are working on and give you a glimpse into our design process. Because everything in «The Guardian of Nature» is made by hand!

In this first entry of our Dev Diary, we’ll be sharing some exciting behind-the-scenes details. We want to make every aspect of our game to be magical, from the lush environments to the intricate character designs.

Today, we want to show you how we created a scene where Henry, who can, yes, change in size, meets a frog. See how we started with simple sketches, refined the scene and finally added lighting and colour grading.
