Gamescom Latam 2026

First of all, I just wanted to thank everyone who was able to come to the event, stop by our booth, and play the Tape Us Out demo. I truly hope you enjoyed it. I absolutely loved talking to you all, meeting each one of you, hearing your stories, and seeing everyone having fun together. You were all incredibly kind to us.

And I also need to thank you SO MUCH for the patience you had with our beloved Wi-Fi, which honestly made me want to throw myself off a building about 30 times. Just kidding… or maybe not LOL.

Even with all the chaos, it was an amazing event. We met so many different people, talked to publishers, content creators, other developers, and lots of people who are truly passionate about games. Was it exhausting? Absolutely, but it was fun every single second.

One of the coolest things was seeing people’s reactions to the VHS decorations scattered everywhere. It was so funny whenever someone looked at them and went, “OH MY GOD… I used to watch Toy Story on these,” and then suddenly they’d start sharing childhood memories… that honestly warmed my heart so much.

But then there was also the younger crowd staring at the tapes in complete shock like, “What the hell is this thing?”

And speaking of special moments… something REALLY surreal happened to us!!!!!

Our biggest inspiration was at Gamescom. The We Were Here team was there showcasing their new game, We Were Here Tomorrow, and we literally ran up to talk to them like excited little kids. It was one of those moments where you’re just like: “OH MY GOD, I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S ACTUALLY YOU GUYS.”

They were incredibly kind to us, talked with our team, got to know our game, and it ended up being such a special experience for all of us.
