4.1.7 - March 11, 2026 (State Machines, Challenge Sweeps, oh my!)
Bug Fixes
Removed an exploit where a player can gain the "Add Code" achievements instantly
Fixed a small issue with Challenge 10 where re-running it gave much fewer Diamonds than expected, making further progress impossible if you didn't instantly clear the Challenge.
Campaigns no longer show Ambrosia Reward data if you have not yet cleared EXALT 1, tier 1.
Immortal ELO Achievements no longer strictly require a Sacrifice to earn them; you now automatically earn them if you have Cube Upgrade 5x9 and otherwise meet the requirements.
Attempted to fix a Modal bug by setting its position to the button in question, if you press ENTER to click it, while on Steam. This might not have fixed the bug as intended, so let us know if you have issues after this update
Achievement Rewards that give multipliers to your "Reset Count" increments based on your Reset Timers now correctly give more Reset Count on a continuous scale, rather than getting the full bonus only at the maximum time as stated in the Achievement Reward description
Fixed a bug where Octeracts sometimes don't show up in the Singularity History Subtab, if you have reached Singularity 8 or higher (which is when you can unlock Octeracts)
(More of a consistency thing) @Kruta Wow! Pass Icons now have correct icon border colors in the Quark Shop!
Fixed an issue with Challenge Sweep: Challenge 1 no longer waits an extra START time to begin the sweep.
Fixed an issue with Challenge Sweep: Challenge 10 no longer instantly starts the next sweep if you max it out.
Fixed an issue with Challenge Sweep: Toggling Challenges On/Off should now reset the Sweep, as intended.
Fixed a display issue where Ascending with a permanent Research not maxed out causes its background to be removed.
Enhancements
Cube Upgrade 1x10 now specifies that you only get its mechanic when you have completed Challenge 11, for the first time.
Added a couple Challenge Sweep MODE texts: "CHALLENGE" when the Sweep is in the Challenge, and "COMPLETE" when the Sweep has nothing more to do. "EXIT" is no longer a MODE text.
Ascensions now reset the Challenge Sweep. To my knowledge this was probably not a bug that it did not before.
QoL
Steam users can now set the window size from a list of presets (Image #1).
Steam users now have a UI Scale option (Image #2).
The window size is now saved and restored when re-opening the game.
Rearranged tabs are now persistent, for all users (browser and Steam)
Balancing
Challenges 5 and 10 no longer have scaling penalties (The Coins to Diamond exponent is a fixed constant), and removed the Coins to Mythos exponent from Challenge 5 penalties (it was not listed in-game, and I don't know why it was there...)
The first tier of Shop Ambrosia Luck/Bar Point Generation now unlocks at GQ Shop 3 instead of GQ Shop 2, and costs what the second tier used to cost. The second tier now costs 10x more than before.
Mortuus 2 now only gives up to +75% Talisman Effect and +50% Ascension Speed (old: +100% / +100%)
Ascendens now only gives up to +2,500 Banked Cubes, on top of giving +3 for the first 200 levels.
