addedVitality TokensRepresent lands where the ecosystem is unusually resilient and able to resist or quickly rebound from damage. Each Vitality in a land with no Blight prevents 1 Blight from being added and is then removed. These tokens are used by the new Spirit and two upcoming Aspects.

Spirit: Towering Roots of the Jungle

A massive, sprawling tree, mighty and ancient. It predates the Dahan, but its history has entwined with theirs ever since they arrived. It protected the land from any accidental damage done by the Dahan, and the Dahan from Spirits that wished them ill. Now, the threat of the Invaders and their heedless destruction has motivated it to grow and change in a new way…

Three New Aspects

  • River Surges in Sunlight (Haven)

  • Shifting Memory of Ages (Mentor)

  • A Spread of Rampant Green (Regrowth)

Vitality Tokens

Represent lands where the ecosystem is unusually resilient and able to resist or quickly rebound from damage. Each Vitality in a land with no Blight prevents 1 Blight from being added and is then removed. These tokens are used by the new Spirit and two upcoming Aspects.

No additional purchase is required; you will gain access to the new content with your existing purchase of Nature Incarnate.

Other Improvements and Fixes

  • When Strife is being ignored, the tokens will be grayed out as a visual reminder.

  • Fixed an issue where if Infestation of Venomous Spiders was used multiple times on one land, they could each deal Damage when a single Action was skipped.

  • The Coordinated Defense effect now works properly in lands with Dahan and Incarna.

  • Unearth a Beast of Wrathful Stone now correctly applies Bringer of Dreams and Nightmares’ Special Rule if the Power Card is forgotten before the beast unearths.

  • If you have both damaging thresholds of Why Don't You and Them Fight and use it in a land with Badlands, you are now able to choose when the Badlands damage applies.

  • Habsburg's turning "Destroy Town" into "2 Damage" now correctly interacts with Bringer of Dreams and Nightmares.

  • Lure of the Deep Wilderness is now able to ignore Russia 3+ Explorers to prevent a land from matching a Ravage Card with the Hard-Working Settlers event.

  • Beset by Many Troubles no longer ignores Strife when Invaders are not participating in Ravage.

  • Boon of Swarming Bedevilment no longer allows both the target Spirit and Spirit that played it to push their Presence.

  • Fixed an issue where after undoing Turmoil's Touch, if the second use initially skipped discarding, the choice to discard for a power could be made without needing to actually discard a card.

  • Restlessness (Terror Level II) now correctly interacts with the Kingdom of England 3+'s High Immigration Build Card.

  • The event Resourceful Populace (Terror Level 1) now recognizes lands that are surrounded by isolated lands properly.

  • Explorers pushed via the Russia (2+) effect while resolving Discord (Terror Level 2) no longer ignore isolation effects.

  • Fixed an issue in Rituals of the Destroying Flame where some Fear generation powers would not generate fear to unlock the next Fear Card.

  • Unearth a Beast of Wrathful Stone now properly triggers in a land where a Ravage occurs, but none of the Invaders are participating in the Ravage.

  • When using Tempest of Leaves and Branches, additional damage from Badlands tokens may now be properly distributed.

  • You are now able to undo after Scotland's known Coastal Lands card is flipped.

  • Fixed an issue where Sunset's Fire Flows Across the Land did not interact correctly with
