Dear Ducklings,
After a brief period of silence, during which we’ve been working hard on the game (especially on The Square) we’re back to share a couple of updates.
First, we’re aiming to bring you another playtest in mid-June. You’ll get the chance to see what has changed, what has improved, and to give us another valuable round of feedback, which we always need to help us adjust our trajectory.
Second, just a few months after the playtest, the game is officially set to launch in Early Access at the end of the summer!
We want to make The Square a proper social hub where people can hang out and chill together while collecting coins, playing small games, and trolling each other for the lols. We envision a place in perfect Placid Plastic Duck Simulator style, with little secrets, interactions, prizes, and more — all in multiplayer this time.
It’s going to take some time and steady updates, but we’ll get there.
For now, make sure to join the next playtest in June!
