The mostly final version of Slider is here! This comes with our Chinese localization, a fix for high refresh-rate monitors, and a ton of bug fixes. Here is the full change log:
- Chinese localization!
- Localization should now default to your system's language if available
- Fixed missing animation frames on Chad, Archeologist, and Fezziwig (lmk if there's any others please!!)
- Added an experimental option to make the player smoother on high refresh-rate monitors
- Added an option to tone down screen effects (like flashing or shaders)
- Updated how files are saved and added some more permanent saves, so the whole process should be safer and more recoverable. We will now also occasionally create backups every hour of your progress.
- Added speedrun timer option
- Updated some main menu UI a little to make it more readable
- Updated some dialogue in MagiTech
- Added more support for text backgrounds on various objects in the game (map, dice, ...)
- Slight improvements to controller support in Ocean and Mountain
- Fixed some minor controller menu bugs
- Fixed some typos and localization issues
- Fixed some Korean achievement localizations
- Fixed voices for Crocodile and Military Robots
- Fixed bug where Ocean battle pass would get stuck in a bad state
- Fixed bug where throw indicator would show up in front of time calibrator
- Fixed some bugs in MagiTech with the cat and UI
It's truly been such a journey and I really need to get to making my next games, but I'm glad for all of the support and positive reviews everyone has been so kind as to shower me with. I was going to write a bunch more stuff but I think I'll keep it for my website C:
