We are happy to see that, while Skogdal is a fairly small and niche game in terms of player count, there is still a lot of player activity in the game, people keep playing it, and new players appear. The reviews we are getting is an amazing and heartwarming read to us, so me (Erlend) and Kay Arne just want to say thank you to everyone enjoying our game!
As we are now going into the Winter Holidays, where we both (with our families) will go back to the small western town of Norway that we are from (and which Skogdal may or may not be largely inspired by), we are also doing the biggest discount we have yet done for Skogdal, 50% off when Steam Winter Sale launches later today!
To celebrate this we have also made some updates:
Community Shop Items, Badges and Trading Cards added as Steam features: these are unlocked automatically as you play the game, and works retroactively, so you will unlock these due to past playtime if you simply booth up the game. If you collect these, you can unlock a set of awesome badges, in addition to a few steam backgrounds and emotes from the game. Trading Cards for a card game just makes so much sense.
Fixed some typos (mostly for Norwegian).
Added a new setting to toggle on "Always Show Tutorial", this is mostly meant for libraries and clubs that have purchased our game, to better accomodate for new players on the same device.
