Presents, Christmas decorations, monsters from the cold roaming the city streets, and a big invasion. Christmas fun to be had by all! The Christmas 2025 holiday event has started and will run until Monday January 5, 2026.
Apotheosis City has been decorated for the holidays with Christmas decorations and presents. Those that sparkle deliver surprises depending on whether you have been naughty or nice.
Snow creatures have infiltrated the city and are now roaming the streets. Good thing heroes like you are patrolling. Sometimes, they even try to stand between you and your presents. The audacity!
The snow monsters did not come alone. A whole slew of creatures from colder worlds have come and brought their crystals. The role of these crystals is a mystery but destroying them wins the fight. That fight is actually an easy invasion started by coming under the arch. You can form a league to do it or attempt it alone.
If you formed a league, you will be glad when you reach the big monster, the Living Glacier. That little orange dot at the bottom is a hero casting an AOE power. He is BIG!
Your efforts will be rewarded with the opportunity to collect special presents for 3 minutes. These presents are all over the city and do not just sparkle: they glow. Unlike the regular presents, you don’t have to have been nice to get them. Destroying the Living Glacier is enough.
And yes, that means we’ve added another easy invasion for the game. A much harder raid map is actually in the works for the near future.
The Christmas invasion is launched simply by having any player run under the Arch. Only one invasion can be operating at a time, and there is a 10-minute cool down on launching a new one after a previous one has been completed. Since the presents sometimes spawn monsters that roam the city, there is a lot to do in between invasions.
Other winter themed experiences include the Snow Lair and the Winter Raid, both accessible from the terminals on the teleport circle in front of City Hall. Unlike the winter events, these are always available.
After all this good work, it will be time to chill in your hero living quarters and decorate for Christmas. Some new items are available in the store, in the decorations and lights sections, and you may have gotten a few rare drops like this tree of light.

Technical notes
Previously, your base, if you shared it for viewing, would have been visible to other players only if your rent was current. Now, it remains visible as long as you have made it visible. Players have created some awesome bases. Visit them and get inspired! And share your beautiful Christmas decorations.
