We’ve just released a new update for the game, bringing a wide range of bug fixes, balance changes, and improvements. Here’s what’s new:
Fixes & Improvements
Angry Mammoth no longer pushes enemies onto impassable tiles
Fixed multiple AI freezes caused by issues in special ability handling
NPCs can no longer be unplaced
Fixed Army Management issues when switching between different races/avatars without restarting the game
Fixed height inconsistencies across various maps
Updated unit sounds
Implemented a workaround for a library issue that could cause freezes at the start of a turn
Units can no longer heal or restock when special abilities are blocked
Fixed Zeal ability not affecting spells correctly
Fixed missing loot from certain POIs
Fixed a damage reduction modifier being applied to the attacker instead of the defender
Fixed sidebar modifiers updating too early and showing incorrect values
Fixed incorrect values for Hope, Bravery, Endurance, Zeal, and Willpower on avatars
Event units are no longer counted towards the army limit
Adjusted "Hold Position" values
Fixed and cleaned up tooltips for several spell effects (removed duplicates)
Fixed a memory leak caused by certain overlapping aura combinations
Fixed a broken level progress switching from 1st to 2nd island
Fixed Kukulkan’s aura:
Corrected values for flying units
Fixed missing effect on bombardiers
New Stuff
Added 3 difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard) effecting:
Starting resources (Gold & Gems)
Rewards gained for:
Capturing buildings
Completing levels and islands
Experience (XP) gained
Restocking costs (XP & Gold)
Systems & Mechanics
Mercenaries are now placed within a larger radius around buildings; if no valid position is found, hiring is no longer possible
Fixed army counter not updating when units were dismissed
Fixed certain spells dealing double damage to large units
Research is no longer blocked when you have exactly the required amount of gold
Balancing
Increased hit points for:
Drummer 30 --> 40
Horn Blower 40 --> 50
Bagpiper 50 --> 60
Monk 60 --> 70
Procession 70 --> 90
Localization
Various localization updates and fixed
