Great news: version 1.0.5 is now live on Steam, adding full controller support for PC and Steam Deck.
Alongside mouse controls, you can now play in two controller styles:
- Direct movement: control your character with the left stick.
- Point-and-click mode: move the cursor with the right stick, keeping the classic feel intact.
This should make the game much more comfortable to play from the couch, on Steam Deck, or anywhere you prefer a controller over mouse and keyboard.
This work came out of our Nintendo Switch port, and we wanted Steam players to benefit from it too. Thanks to that effort, the same controller support is now available here on Steam.
And yes, for anyone who has been waiting to play on Nintendo Switch: the game is also available there starting today.

P.S. If you have played on Steam Deck before, you may still have the old button layout. Be sure to select the "Official Shadows layout v2" to use the correct mappings.
