The New Year is coming soon and we wish you all a wonderful winter holiday. We have prepared some exciting challenges and cool surprises for you to explore over the holidays. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
In this update we have changed the approach to carp fishing on float rods. We decided to remove the “Carp Pop-up” float rig from the game, because the design of the float hair rig does not provide for fishing with pop-up boils. At the same time, when using the “Carp Hair” float rig, it is now possible to adjust the depth of fishing for sinking boils. These changes are aimed at increasing the convenience and efficiency of float carp fishing.
- New Year's fairs are open. - A new version of the Belaya River is released. - The shoreline of the Mosquito Lake is adjusted. - Implemented a new algorithm for edge detection for character movement. This implementation should reduce getting “stuck” when moving along the shoreline. - The ability to return limited items to the store has been removed. - Experimental physics for some soft plastic baits has been implemented. They will move based on the forces around them. - Changes were made to the “Carp Hair” float rig. It is now possible to adjust the depth of fishing for sinking baits. Sinkers will be adjusted automatically. - The “Carp Pop-up” float rig is no longer available. The ability corresponding to it is also no longer available. Points invested in this ability are returned. - Expanded range of available reels. - Implemented display of the premium “Happy Hour” status and time remaining. - Implemented a mini-map inside the compass if the map for the waterbody has been purchased. - Implemented displaying the map coordinates where the mouse is pointing. - Implemented a search by species function in all record tables. - In the player's house on the Norwegian Sea, the number of places to display awards has been increased. - Reduced the 32 kg weight requirement of the 3rd task for the 7th stage of the “Bolognese and match fishing” challenge. - Selecting a ticket to extend the boat rental is now activated with the same key as the boat push off function. If pushing off is possible, the next ticket cannot be selected. - The Game engine has been updated. - Fixed. Incorrect volume when throwing baits with the cobra. - Fixed. Incorrect sound effect volume of Westhill Horn alarms. - Game world reset on all water bodies. Fish may change habitats, preferences for baits and lures. - New Year's tasks are active. Entering the game by 10/01/2025 00:00 UTC will activate 60 days to complete the New Year's tasks, receiving unique rewards for each of the completed stages. - Until 09/01/2025 00:00 UTC free “Happy Hour” time for all players, and double for players with active premium subscriptions. Important! If you purchase a premium subscription or activate a premium token subscription during an active “Happy Hour”, the double “Happy Hour” will be activated after the next reset.
