We are excited to announce the date for the upcoming major update to Progress Chess. The update, titled Progress Chess: Path to Mastery, will become available on April 15 of this year and will include the following additions and improvements:
1.New Time Control Mode with Fischer Clocks: Players will receive a set number of seconds added to their remaining time for each move made. 2.New Tournament Lineup: In addition to standard time-control tournaments, new tournaments for rapid chess (rapid or blitz, depending on the selected speed mode) will be introduced, featuring either Fischer clocks or standard time controls. 3.Improved and reworked characters play strength balance: Ensures a smoother entry into the chess career, even for absolute beginners. 4.Enhanced and balanced Learning Mode: Added simpler tasks for newcomers, zoomable demonstration boards, and improved localization. 5.PGN Export Functionality: Ability to export played games in PGN format directly from the list of saved games. 6.New Voice-Acted chess-player characters: Over a dozen new characters with skill levels ranging from 200 Elo to Grandmaster. 7.Additional locations: several new in-game locations added. 8.Optimized In-Game UI: Interface elements are hidden when the board is zoomed in for a cleaner view.
