Hello Primals!!
This month the primary focus has been to finish implementing the new main menu, controls, and additional gameplay features that are need to improve the experience of our players. I've also started work on additional ai with more realistic path following and interactions with the environment. Our main focus right now is delivering an amazing quality experience surviving as these animals. One of the new features coming to the game is the ability for foliage to fade once your animal is going through them. This will allow players to see themselves in dense areas and will remove the clutter from the camera.
What's Next
Continued Growth Work
Admin Panel
Combat Refinements
Completing Gameplay Camera
Swimming Movement
Scent Optimization
Thank you all for your patience, constructive criticism, complaints, and faith in us

Hello everyone!
This month I’ve been focused on a few different things; fixes for various things, optimization, map work, and also the first WIP of our models showing pregnancy/nursing/starving for our upcoming Life (survival) gamemode. Lion, Buffalo, and Zebra have been the focus but soon cheetah will be worked on and shown in our discord BTS (behind the scenes) once started. On the new map, Masai, you will now not only see the well known Acacia trees from before but also now other types of trees like Baobab that can be found in more dry savanna parts of the map. Weather, seasons and other dynamic interactions with the environment are next to get added back into the game as well. I will get more pictures posted soon after I work on the textures a bit more!

Alkaline - Lead Animator
Hi guys! A bit of a shorter update from me this month. This past stretch has been focused mostly on rigging, technical fixes, and troubleshooting. A large portion of time has gone into creating, reworking, and troubleshooting game rigs, along with fixing issues with control rigs, including problems like controls affecting unrelated parts of the body and mesh stretching during animation loops. There’s also been a lot of time spent fighting with the game rigs and during the process of getting animations properly into Unreal Engine. Because most of the work this month has been behind the scenes, I don’t have a ton to share yet regarding the cheetah animations I’ve been working on. I have been able to spend a little time on them though, and I’m excited to share sneak peeks once I have more to show!

Romy - Animator
Hey everyone! I am working on all animations of our beloved lion cub. Last month my main focus was the short Idle and the 1st broadcast, which are finished. This month I wasn’t able to work as much as I wanted, but I’m excited to share that I’ve been focusing on the run animation! For this animation i want them to feel clumsy, but capable. They're still young so it's movement shouldn’t feel like an adult or even sub, but at the same time it needs to look like they could survive on
