changedFeatures: 1. Mining and Herbalism Ore and herbs are randomly scattered across the map. Players control their heroes to gather them. At the artisan district near the base or in neutral towns, players can find Blacksmith and Alchemist NPCs. Each unit of ore provides a level 2 attack and defense upgrade for all units, while each harvested herb grants a large amount of experience to both heroes and units.
changedTreasure Chests In skirmish maps, some hidden areas contain legendary treasure chests. Control your hero and carefully observe the small paths on the map—you may be rewarded with a surprise. However, remain cautious, as opening a chest may trigger undead guardians.
changedNeutral Watchtower In skirmish maps, there are many construction platforms. By paying a nearby NPC a single Honor Seal, you can build a watchtower on the platform that belongs to you. Unlike watchtowers constructed in your base, those built at neutral locations are more durable and will be garrisoned with different powerful units depending on the faction you have chosen. These watchtowers can also cast powerful abilities.
