We have a big announcement today: Playtest is now public!
In other words, there is now a dedicated “Playtest” page for Pizza Deathlivery on Steam.
What does this change?
Anyone can now find the game page and try it out without having to go through our Discord or exchange emails.
Why are we doing this now?
We've added almost all the content we want for the game's release, and we need to continue balancing and fixing as many bugs as possible before its release, which is coming very, very soon!
So we need a maximum number of people to test, critique, and give us feedback on the game in order to have the most polished version possible.
Just a quick note: if you don't want to spoil the final game for yourself, we recommend waiting until the game is released!

What has changed since the “Private” Playtest opened?
Woooooh, a lot of things, here's a non-exhaustive list:
UI:
A visual display shows the items that can be picked up as well as the actions that can be performed with an item.
When you have an item in your hand, the actions for that item are now visible.
The end-of-day visual has been reworked to be much clearer and easier to read.
Gameplay:
You can now crouch, which reduces the sound your character makes.
If you get crushed, your voice and your friends' voices change.
The pizzeria has been completely redesigned.
New endgame system: If you don't deliver half of your pizzas three days in a row, you're fired!
The infirmary has its own items for purchase.
The sewers have been redone (for good this time).
Item prices are now visible in the shop when you pick and drop the box
The game has an “ending.”
4 new buildings available: Drink Shops
Each of which will allow you to improve one of your character's 4 stats: health, stamina, running speed, and the number of pizzas you can carry (yes, you read that right).
Items:
The syringe: to revive your friends.
The Medkit: to recover ALL your health.
Prices have been changed to make purchases more interesting and accessible.
The banana can stun enemies.
Documents can now be found and read. They may give you some clues on how to deal with... the monsters
Customization:
You can change your character''s hat, eyes, and outfit color
We've added EMOTES!
Music and sounds:
Entirely reworked overall atmosphere
New SFX have been added (items, environment, etc.)
Graphics:
Reworked lighting and visual atmosphere of the city (especially fog)
Added scenery to the city and overall environment
Reworked the third level: The Forest
The fourth level, “Pine Hill,” is now complete (the fog has never been so oppressive!)
Each bills has its value printed on it
Other:
Added a TUTORIAL to the Main Menu (FINALLY!)
Numerous bug fixes and quality of life improvements
