changedTo be honest with you, Phonopolis is still far away from release - we know for certain it won't be ready this year - but we're sure this whole experience will help us make it a better game. There won't be a demo here on Steam in the near future, but maybe we'll catch you at another physical event sooner or later? Anyway, it's time for us to get back to work!

Now that we've finally recovered from terrible jet lag (and Easter celebrations), we're ready to let you all know that our recent trip to San Francisco was a huge success - our cardboard-built adventure Phonopolis has won the Excellence in Visual Art award at Independent Games Festival 2024!! ːmuchomurkaː

We traveled to sunny California in March for two main reasons - to premiere a demo of Phonopolis at the incredible Day of the Devs along with about 70 more upcoming indies, and to be at the biggest games conference out there, the famous GDC. A big part of GDC is Independent Games Festival (IGF), a celebration of indie games that we're always honored to be part of. This year, Phonopolis was one of the nominees for Excellence in Visual Art, and so it happened that we came home with the award! Please scroll down to see a group of very happy artists/developers - Eva, Petr, and Oto, the creative trio behind the vision of Phonopolis. We applaud and thank every member of the team for doing their best to make sure Phonopolis looks, sounds and feels as good as possible ːcreakskissː

It was a great pleasure meeting so many fellow developers and gamers - gotta give a special shout out to our lovely IGF booth neighbor Cryptmaster! - and to be able to collect so much valuable feedback on our first ever publicly playable demo. We even had the honor to meet an indisputable legend of video games, Mr. Alexey Pajitnov who gave the world a pretty popular game known as Tetris. Imagine how nervous we got when he showed up at our booth!

Thank you all for your support!
