Brand New Content
I. The Herald's Trial Adds The Maelstrom, A Map Being Reconstructed Infinitely
The God of Khaos tore space apart, gathering fragments of countless worlds here. With The Maelstrom descending, who shall escape?
Map Mechanics:
In [The Maelstrom], every match is a new adventure. This perilous land is randomly assembled from shattered fragments of multiple maps.
New area [Disordered Wasteland] may appear in The Maelstrom:
Disordered Wasteland: Celestial union births the primal, divine forms entwine as chaos yields to our dominion.
Primeval Shrine: Sunwing's feathers burn into ash. Moonbane's bones collapse as beams. Blended Blood and souls engulf the sun and the moon. The Great Wilderness is eventually a wilderness.
Ruined Court: There's a heaven-and-earth furnace for battlers. Some are in fire and some are in boiling water. Sharp claws tear each other. The new king is the winner of all killers.
Diviner's Rocks: Ghosts dwell in large numbers in the rock holes, gloomy and shadowy. At night the instrument playing may be ghosts wailing.
Primordial Pool: Primordial Pool melts all things, let alone flesh and bones. Purified, they are combined with the God, and aware of the furnace of the mortal world.
City of the Unseen: The city is prosperous as expected, with streets and buildings well-organized. Gloomy is the wind across your face. Awakened, you find it's no human's place.
Chaos Sea: Between the gaps of shattered continents surges the Chaos Sea. [Chaos Poison] permeates it. Once fully corrupted, Heroes will continuously lose Health and recover less Health. This effect disappears after leaving the Chaos Sea for some time.
Monsters: Monsters roam the Floating Stones in the Chaos Sea. Avoid combat with them before obtaining an Extreme Weapon.
- Extreme Weapon[Chaos Stashes] may drop [Extreme Weapon Shards]. Teams holding the [Extreme Weapon Shard] of the same type of Extreme Weapon will have their positions displayed on the map. After obtaining all three fragments of the same Extreme Weapon, you can craft the Extreme Weapon in your bag. Teams wielding an Extreme Weapon are immune to Chaos Poison, deal increased damage to monsters in the Chaos Sea, and can temporarily reduce enemy maximum Health when attacking with the Extreme Weapon.
Nexus Realm: The Nexus Realm is the hub connecting all major areas and also contains [Chaos Stashes]. Purchase a [Nexus Key] from the Rift Dealer to enter the [Nexus Realm] when [Nexus Gates] appear. When the Nexus Realm closes, all Remains within it will be moved to random Soul Altars outside.
In [The Maelstrom], Blue Stashes now drop 25% more loot, while Gold and Green Stashes yield 33% more loot with an increased chance of higher-quality items.
II. Showdown Deadeye Update
Added Counter mechanics and Deadeye martial skills for Cannon and Repeating Crossbow.
III. New Tempered Inferno and New Curios
Four New Hero Exclusive Curios and Four New General Curios are now available.
Wolf Soul Beads (Temulch): When using [Earthshaker], continuously fires [windballs] that can pierce through enemies multiple times, and enters the special stance "Defuse·Combo".
Dark Plume (Matari): When using an Aegis-break Martial Skill, fires [Eagle Feathers] that strike enemies along their path and remain embedded in the ground and walls. Successful Defuses recall all [Eagle Feathers], striking enemies along
