NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Update – Aug 29th, 2024

Dear players,

The servers of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT will be suspended for maintenance from August 28th, 2024 at 23:00 (UTC) to August 29th, 2024 at 04:00 (UTC). We suggest you log out in advance and enter the game again after the maintenance. The details for this update are as follows:

Brand New Content

1. Showdown 2.0 Deepwood

A new Showdown season is here, bringing strange omens to the world. The base Sense levels of all stages and heroes have been altered.

1. New Hero in Showdown: Yoto Hime Yoto Hime has now joined Showdown. With the demonic blade in hand, may you slay all evil!

2. New Chapter: Sunwing's Rest The dark valley is fraught with hidden dangers. Omnius is attacking in an even more shocking manner this time.

3. Nirriti's Ruins and Adjustments to Yama's Abyss Yama's Abyss has been transformed into a purer trial ground. Players can now bring their Souljades into battle, continuously challenging higher stages to advance their Showdown rank. The original format of Yama's Abyss has been made into a brand new game mode, Nirriti's Ruins, featuring more powerful Anima Rings, fresh gameplay elements, and an even more thrilling experience. Take on the challenges of Nirriti's Ruins and Yama's Abyss separately for a variety of bountiful season-limited rewards.

4. Brand New Souljades and Potentials With the arrival of a new season, players can now use a new "Poison-wielding" power and new Souljades! "Fight poison with poison" and seize victory through unexpected means. Potential levels have been reset, and we have adjusted the effects of existing Potentials, as well as added new Poison-related Potentials to provide a wider range of combo selections.

5. Season Settlements Turmoil Season will end on August 29, 2024 at 00:00 (UTC) (1) Season Rewards: (2) Showdown Leaderboard Rewards Players will be rewarded with an Avatar that corresponds to the highest rank that they held on the leaderboards at any point during Showdown Turmoil Season (recorded either at weekly settlement or at season settlement). Additionally, the top 3 players on each leaderboard will receive an exclusive Hero Badge.

(3) Progress Reset: In the new season, players will start from in Yama's Abyss.

II. Brand New Showdown Pass

The new Deepwood Showdown Pass is here. Unlock the pass to level up and obtain the Legendary Weapon Skins [Ivy Shards] and [Celestial Abyss], exclusive Martial Skill Cosmetics [Thunderbolt·Blaze] and [Draconic Lightning Strike·Radiant] for Viper Ning, and [Annihilation Slash·Inferno] and [Annihilation Blade·Crimson] for Yoto Hime, the new Legendary Souljade [Pestilent Pool], the Extreme item [Flux Shard], and a host of other rewards!

III. New Events

1. Truth and Myth Event Time: From Aug 28, 2024 20:00 (UTC) to Sep 23, 2024 20:00 (UTC) Claim rewards until Sep 29, 2024 20:00 (UTC)

Event Rules This artifact comes from the Perdoria. Try to piece together the story it holds.

1. During the event, participating in Survival modes or Showdown matches will earn you Insight Tokens according to your in-game performance (including but not limited to dealing damage, countering, and healing). You can earn up to 100 Insight Tokens per match, with a daily cap of 200 Insight Tokens.

2. Every 200 Insight Tokens automatically converts into 1 Knowledge Point. Spend Knowledge Points to unlock clue stories for three artifacts and receive clue rewards.

3. Once all three artifact clues are unlocked, you can open the Artifact Treasure to obtain the final reward.

4. Each day, players can claim an Archaeology Gift to gain 100 bonus Insight Tokens, which doesn't count towards the cap for points earned from matches.
