After 3 years of hard work, after so many obstacles, and heartbreak, My Father Lied managed to win an award. I was so nervous seeing Norman Reedus giving his winning speech while sitting next to Jon Bernthal, and see the creator of Expedition 33 Guillaume Broche give his inspiring speech, among many other people who I never imagined I would be mentioned with them, let alone give an acceptance speech like they did. This is truly an honor, a dream I am afraid to wake up from.
