Migration to Unreal 5.7.4

We’re currently in the process of migrating the project to Unreal 5.7. As expected, this has taken up a fair amount of development time — it’s one of those changes that doesn’t immediately show in obvious ways, but is important for the foundation of the project.

On the plus side, we’ve already managed to fix some visual bugs that had been around for a while, so things are gradually becoming more stable and consistent.

New HUD

We’ve also made changes to the game’s HUD. The goal here was to improve navigation and make the overall experience more intuitive.

There are still some details being refined, but the general flow is already much cleaner and easier to use

World Designer

One of the areas that has seen the most progress is the map and terrain editing tools. We’re working on making world creation more flexible and precise, giving you more control over the environment. So, we’re implementing a way to edit and customize the terrain

This should make a noticeable difference for anyone who enjoys more detailed worldbuilding.

What’s next

Beyond that, we have several other features in development — some still in early stages, others required in development tools to be started but y’all can wait for exciting news in the upcoming months
