First of all: thank you. It’s truly amazing to see how many of you care about what we’re trying to build. Your reports, your kind words, and even your “come on, you can do it!” mean a lot to us.

This Alpha still has many rough edges. Our goal was to include as much as possible to show the potential and direction of the game, even if some systems still need work. That’s exactly why it’s in Alpha: it needs testing, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Also, as we are still self-funded and haven’t secured a publisher yet, your support truly helps us continue development. So, thank you for being part of this journey ❤️

🔍 What you reported (and what we’re improving)

  • Daily Quests are currently random and not tied to progression → We are working on all three levels in this moment, as mentioned in previous updates😉

  • Workstations left empty even when staff is available → Yes… your employees sometimes prefer recharging over working 😄 We’ll make their behavior clearer and more manageable for you

  • Room size customization → currently limited, but… A surprise is coming with the March 31 game update 😉

  • Characters getting stuck in tight spaces → we’ve improved their movement range, and we’re working on better feedback (notifications or reactions impacting satisfaction).

👷 Staff Behavior (Work in Progress)

Some of you reported that janitors/repair staff sometimes refuse to work… are they on strike? 😄

We’re investigating whether this is a bug or linked to missing breaks. We also noticed it happens more often on Saturdays, which may be connected to a day-off system we started implementing.

We’re working on:

  • Better communication of staff needs

  • Improved UI for employee management

  • Fixing the root cause of this behavior

💾 Save System (Important)

This is currently one of the most delicate systems and may require multiple updates:

  • Fixed issues where objects were partially saved or disappearing

  • Fixed cases where players couldn’t restart a new game

⚠️ Still work in progress — please keep reporting any issues!

🎭 Animation & Characters

Character animations will be significantly improved with new character implementations currently in development. Stay tuned!

🔮 Future Bugs & Improvements (Reported by You)

  • Improved object positioning

  • Improvements to room movement and placement

  • Employee training system (staff becoming more autonomous over time)

  • Wall placement issues when rooms overlap building edges

  • Add speech bubbles for idle customers

  • Better visibility of floor costs (per square meter)

  • Fix wall object placement issues (floating objects / invalid placement)

  • Improved customer feedback screen (clearer needs & satisfaction)

  • Potential support for additional languages (depending on funding/publishing)
