First of all, thank you again to everyone who has been playing the Playtest version and sending us feedback. It’s incredibly valuable and helps us understand how different players experience the game.
We’ve pushed a new update with several fixes (details below) but also, we have updated the free version: Demo V260309 (this is a limited version of Sandbox without the historical part), the small changes. Important information: ⚠️ Be careful with ELIA! It never wants to work, so hire someone else ;)
🛠 Bug Fixes of Playtest version
Here are some of the main issues we addressed in this build:
Fixed the dialogue with Gaspard,
Fixed an issue where the Statistics page panel wouldn’t close properly,
Fixed wall color application,
Fixed title of "LOAD" page,
Fixed the overlaying the newspaper,
ARCHIVE in archive, the problem of the fake page fixed,
Fixed projector repair behavior
About the projector… It turns out our employees had collectively decided that repairing a projector that was literally on fire was simply too difficult. So instead of fixing it… they just stood there watching it burn.
We’ve now corrected this behavior.
For launch, you’ll see Gaspard suggesting that you call emergency services, and repairing the projector will come with a higher cost. So keep an eye on your equipment! Items wear down over time and doing regular checks can prevent unpleasant surprises.😉
What We’re Seeing From the Community
Something very interesting is emerging from your feedback.
Players seem to fall into two main groups:
🎮 Sandbox fans Players who love the idea of expanding one huge cinema and focusing purely on management, optimization and building the ultimate theater.
🏛 History fans Players who really enjoy the historical progression, something they haven’t seen much in other tycoon games, but who are also pointing out many details that still need polishing.
Both perspectives are incredibly valuable for us.
Right now our priority is to polish and stabilize the systems that are already in the game, so the experience is as solid as possible for launch.
What Happens Next
Once Early Access launches on March 17, we’ll start a dedicated sprint focused on:
fixing bugs discovered by the community
improving UI clarity
addressing technical issues players encounter
And on the same day, we’ll also reveal our development roadmap, where you’ll see the features and systems planned for the future of Movierooms.
Thank you again to everyone helping us shape the game. Your feedback is already making a real difference.
