I have been reading your comments, reviews, discussion, feedback... I will do my best to fix the issues you are having, with priority starting with the major bugs.
I see that in some rare cases, it was possible to corrupt your save data and then the game would load you into a weird room, and also that respawning would sometimes teleport you all over the place at checkpoints. I have been working on these for the past few days and a fix should go live really soon. If you were unfortunate enough to get a corrupted save, check this thread:

After that, I will look at bugs and improve the gameplay from feedback... and then maybe plans beyond that 👀 Who knows?
