changedOur dev team continues to work on taking our proof of concept project and migrating/updating it to the newest version of the Unreal Engine. This upgrade brings with it a host of performance improvements and tools that will let us deliver a better looking final product without taking a massive hit to performance. As a competitive game we know that frames matter, and we want to maximize the end users experience while providing the best looking visuals and environments possible.
changedOn that note, we successfully held our latest play test on the newest finished map, The Museum. Final tweaks are in the works now but this marks another milestone towards getting the project into the players hands.
changedDamon continues to plug away on the back end building our proprietary server architecture. The final vision for Method of Entry is to pair it with this back end system and provide the most stable experience for online matches while at the same time ensuring that our games remain fair and balanced. Things like hit registration, lag compensation, and interpolation are all top of mind when developing this system and we hope to get this out in the coming years to supplement the multiplayer experience!
changedWe're continuing to try and create marketing and social media content so please be on the lookout for that across all of our channels. Links to them can be found on the games store page. If you haven't already, drop by the discord and take a look at all of the behind the scenes stuff!
