Maximum Football fans, Happy Holidays! Get ready to kick off the festive season with the launch of our brand new, Season 5: Holiday Blitz.
This holiday-themed season features a 50-tier progression pass offering both free and premium rewards. Players can unlock some of our most creative cosmetic items yet to truly deck the halls in style. These include fun items like reindeer antlers for helmets, red-nosed facemasks, and ugly Christmas sweater jersey patterns.
No matter how you choose to play Maximum Football this season, you can progress through the pass and earn new items, as every one of the 50 tiers grants both a free and a premium reward.
New Stadiums Arrive in Season 5
Season 5 introduces two distinct new stadiums. The first, Gothic Grounds, is instantly unlocked for Premium Pass players at Level 1. This stadium leans into a darker, Krampus-like holiday aesthetic, featuring a large, imposing Gothic castle backdrop and a surrounding creepy village.
The second stadium, Silverline Stadium, is available for free to all users upon completion of all 50 tiers of the pass. Silverline Stadium offers a classic winter wonderland experience, complete with festive lights, Christmas trees, and plenty of snow on the gridiron perfect for making snow angels (hint, hint).
Franchise Updates
In addition to the festive holiday content, this update brings significant improvements to Franchise mode, driven by early community feedback. These enhancements include a refreshed user interface for several menus, the ability to import your complete custom team roster without the previous 53-player limit, and the introduction of automatic substitutions for simulated Franchise games.
Winter Classic Showcase Winners Added!
The latest update for Maximum Football brings a wave of exciting new content and a celebration of the dedicated community! We are thrilled to announce the official introduction of our Winter Classic Showcase winners into the core Franchise mode: the Louisiana Chicken Pandas and the Northstar Ringers.
These two unique teams were designed and championed by members of our incredible player base, embodying the creativity, passion, and spirit that fuels the Maximum Football universe. By integrating the Louisiana Chicken Pandas and the Northstar Ringers directly into Franchise mode, we are celebrating the talent of every individual who contributes to the vibrant culture of our game.

Gameplay Updates
- Tackle ImprovementsTackle behavior has been improved, resulting in fewer and more realistic tackle breaks.
- New AnimationsAdded new swat animations.
Weather Play Calling: Modified bad weather play calling to be include more passes, correcting an over-weighting towards running plays in the previous iteration.
Franchise Enhancements
- New Assistant GM ReportA new report is now available at the start of the season, providing more detailed team information.
- Custom Team ImportThe roster import process for custom teams in Franchise mode has been changed. Teams will no longer be cut down to 53 players automatically, allowing users to import their entire custom team.
- Updated Weekly Match FlowIntroduced a new UI for the weekly match flow.
Franchise Tag: Players with expiring contracts can now be assigned the Franchise tag.
- Realistic AwardsThe weighing of player performance for award categories has been updated for more realistic selections.
- Auto-Subbing in SimulationAuto-subbing has been enabled for simulated matches in situations where non-starters are prioritized.
- Adjusted BudgetStarting budgets for Franchise teams have been adjusted to a more realistic range.
- New Locker RoomThe old Franchise locker room has been replaced with the new one for viewing
