Updates 🚀
Core Gameplay Loop Completed
This week, we’ve officially completed the core gameplay loop of Mafioso’s Dice! Most of our efforts were focused on bug fixing and polishing.
Demo Build & QA Testing
We packaged a demo version for internal testing and to share with close contacts and potential publishers. QA tests have begun, and we’re actively iterating based on the feedback we receive.
UI Improvements
We changed the font used in instruction and scoring panels to improve readability. The score panel was moved from the top-left to the bottom-left corner for better visual balance.
IK System Overhaul
We reworked the entire IK (Inverse Kinematics) system used for aiming. The new implementation is significantly more stable and responsive.
Bug Fixes 🐛🔨
Fixed a bug where using the Shield card while performing suicide would freeze the game.
Fixed audio issues where some sounds weren’t connected to the mixer, causing volume settings to not work.
Fixed an issue where player names appeared incorrectly for everyone except the host in Steam lobbies.
Resolved a bug that caused the game to lock up if a player disconnected mid-match.
Reworked the IK system to fix glitches during the suicide animation.
