Drawing inspiration from beloved classics, we've crafted a beat 'em up experience that combines old-school controls and retro feelings with innovative 3D mechanics.
Each of the 4 playable characters comes with their signature combat styles, customizable stats that impact gameplay, and detailed backstories to discover.

This is only the beginning. Early Access is where Mad King Redemption truly opens up, with expanded combat systems, corruption mechanics, enemy variety, co-op chaos, and much more.

Unlock Panel and Progression Updates
Here’s a preview of the upcoming Unlock Panel:
This feature is a key part of the game’s progression: it will connect objectives, items, skins, powers, and upgrades into a clearer roguelike structure. Instead of having everything available from the start, players will gradually unlock new tools and options by completing objectives across multiple runs.

The system is not fully active in the current build yet, but we’re working to have it ready as soon as possible.
In the meantime, we’ve intentionally left some content available for testing: 3 extra skins and the available upgrades are currently unlocked without objectives. This is temporary, but it allows players to try different powers properly and build while the progression system is being finalized.
Once the Unlock Panel is active, the game will have a stronger sense of depth, progression, and long-term goals.
WARNING
We’re doing everything we can to preserve your current save data when the Unlock Panel is implemented.
However, since this update changes how progression works, we can’t guarantee this 100%.
Our goal is to keep your saves intact, make sure any content that should be locked is handled correctly, and preserve the gold you’ve collected whenever possible. We’ll share more details before the system goes live.
