Lines of Battle | Development Update
Time for the first development update on Steam.
Over the past weeks, we’ve been working across both the 2D web version and the upcoming 3D version.
The focus has been improving gameplay, stability, and scaling battles.
3D Version
Work on the 3D version is ongoing.
We are shaping the core experience.
Campaign
We are building a campaign structure around larger war context.
Not just isolated battles.
Core Gameplay
We are continuing to iterate on:
• Decision-making • Pacing • Battlefield control
The goal is to reinforce the commander role.
2D Version Updates
We’ve continued improving the live version.
Recent Changes
• Combat and balance refinements • Stamina and pacing adjustments • Performance improvements • Turn status and countdown timer • Unit color customization • UI improvements
Major Fix
The long-standing “Unsubmitted Orders” bug is now mostly resolved.
This issue had been affecting matches for a long time.
We are continuing to monitor edge cases.

Large Scale Battles
We’ve been testing 100 vs 100 battles.
The results have been strong.
These matches are helping us push the scale of the game while testing stability and coordination.
We plan to continue expanding on this.
Looking Ahead
Over the next weeks:
• Advancing the 3D campaign • Developing a better tutorial • Improving core gameplay systems • Continuing 2D balance and UI updates • Exploring larger formats like 10v10+
Thanks for following the development
You are helping shape the game.
See you on the battlefield.
