Same World, Different Game
[dynamiclink href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/2434600/ShantyTown/"]To those who don't know, I am a solo-developer, and for the past few years I've been working on a type of spin-off of Kainga's world in my new game, ShantyTown.

Set in the far future, you play as a government surveyor traveling around different areas of this tropical island, documenting unplanned urban development in a dossier. As a player you have to:
Place items one at a time to create dense urban dioramas
Take a photo of your creations
Move on to the next location with a new set of items to do it again
This is much more of a cozy game than Kainga, but I think fans may enjoy both, so I'm posting here.
ShantyTown is releasing into 1.0. No early access, no in-game purchases, no AI garbage. Just a dude who's passionate about making weird games!
It's also set in the weird world of Kainga! Of course you can build on the Walkers! How could I not?

I did a little update fixing a few things. Like you can now use WASD controls in the Skyloft!
After ShantyTown's launch I'm going to be weighing my options on what to work on next. I may get the community involved in that decision, so check the Discord to get notified when that happens!
Kainga 2? A medieval RPG in the same world? Something else? Let's find out together!
