Isolation Simulator - Update 0.69

He sat alone in the dim room, headphones clamped over his ears, the only light coming from the flickering monitor and a few faint sources scattered on the desk — two ordinary mugs that seemed to glow softly in the darkness, as if holding onto some lingering warmth.

Hour after hour, he transcribed the audio logs. At first it was just static — white noise, wind, distant waves. Then words began to emerge. English phrases, fragmented and familiar, interwoven with something else... syllables in a language he didn't recognize. Was it real? Or was his mind filling the voids?

He wrote them down anyway. Line after line of strange characters he couldn't pronounce, yet somehow felt he should understand. The more he listened, the clearer it became. The "noise" wasn't random. It was trying to tell him something. A message. A warning. Or perhaps an invitation.

As the nights blurred together, the words started making sense. Not in his native tongue, but deeper — directly in his thoughts. He smiled as he typed the final lines, finally understanding what the static had been whispering all along.

Coroner's Report - Case #IS-47

Subject: Unidentified male, approximately 32 years old.

Found deceased at desk in isolated coastal residence. Cause of death: ruptured cerebral aneurysm.

Post-mortem examination revealed massive intracranial hemorrhage. Subject was seated in front of audio transcription workstation.

Final pages of transcription document heavily stained with blood — last entries illegible.

Back to reality... or whatever passes for it in Isolation Simulator.

Update 0.69 is now live!

Here's what's new/refined:

Abyss – Added two new light sources (those glowing mugs on the desk) for subtle atmosphere. Occasionally, after 120 seconds, something may briefly appear... just to remind you you're not entirely alone.

Codex – Fixed a long-standing issue: previously only 15 out of 36 possible whispers/hints were accessible. Now all 36 are in rotation, with improved randomization to prevent excessive repetition.

Subtitles – Added a proper toggle in settings to enable or disable English subtitles (previously there were none at all).

Window Event – Fixed audio glitches, added a lighthouse light effect visible through the window, and extended the overall duration (now fades after ~1000 seconds for more tension buildup).

Archive in Files – A small hidden secret buried in the game files for the curious ones. Check your install folder if you dare...

Control Room – Extended visuals with new graphics and refined details for deeper immersion.

A couple of important announcements:

Price change incoming!

At the end of January 2026, the price will increase from $2.99 to $4.99. This will be the final price — it will stay the same through full release and beyond, with no further changes planned.

The main reason for the early increase is that the current very low price often leads players to underestimate how much content is actually in the game. Many seem to expect a short experience because "it's only $3," but in reality there's already well over 6 hours of dense, replayable content (and growing). The new price better reflects the scope and depth of what's here.

Future development focus

From now on, over the next few months, I'll be fully focused on developing the final major piece of the game: Kyle's Redemption Arc. This content will only become accessible after the full 1.0 release.

Planned full release window: late April / early May 2026.

Thank you all for playing,
