My name is Curtis, I am the active developer for Isle of Leil.

I have been in London for the last four days celebrating EGX at the ExCel centre, where I have had the opportunity to talk too 1000s of gamers. I am so happy about the response received for my game and humbled by the amazing conversations had.

The Isle of Leil demo has known bugs and issues in which will be patched over the next two weeks! I have been hard on development over the last month due to a set back in Hardware (My PC Broke). This has meant naturally a delay in the games final release in which I now realise looks like another 5/6 months of active development. I work full time as a teacher and work on the game during weekends.

Known Issues - Windowed Mode (Being Able to break aspects of the game in windowed mode) - Lighting (I will be implementing a Gamma Slider) - Clunky walking (Tweaking collisions) - Matches, an issue on reset in which the torch is not lighting when picking up matches - Controls (More obvious control explanations) - Stuck in cutscene (When walking backwards into the cutscene I am aware that it can cause the player to become stuck in position - Levers (More obvious player notifs when interacting with Levers) - Motion sickness (This will be turn down, however you can deactivate within the settings)

Improvements

- Removing the Swing mechanic, based on a lot of feedback I want to focus on atmosphere and survival so this mechanic will be removed altogether meaning a change in controls when moving objects around. - Collision Fixes - Implementing a Gamma Slider - Journal will still remain in-active until final release - Tweaks to pickup able object physics - The ability to pick up MOST objects

I do want to also make note that "Sense of Direction" will not change. This is a personal decision due to the want for the players to explore and be immersed within the Isle of Leil. Within the main game there is a compass mechanics which will help along the way.

Please feel free to drop comments about bugs and issues you have maybe come across during your playtime!

I am so grateful for all this feedback and making IoL an amazing game.
