It's the day I can officially add 'PC game dev' to my LinkedIn profile... I can't believe I'm actually saying it - Gunboat God is FINALLY HERE!!!

This has been such an awesome journey, from starting out as my passion project 6 years ago to getting signed with a publisher and working as a solo dev on my game fulltime... to release day! Thanks so much for sticking with me from the early days, wishlisting, leaving feedback on the playtests/demos, and for just reading this blog. I really appreciate it!

A small heads up!
On a small percentage of PCs, the game might seem to be running in slow motion, which is especially confusing if you have a high-end build! It means the game is trying to run on the integrated GPU instead of the dedicated GPU, so try forcing GPU utilisation in Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Software, and you should be all set. Alternatively, some players have reported going from 10 fps to 60 fps after turning off "background blur", or other visual effects, in the options menu. Happy Gunboating!
