Because of the new mission framework and farming system, previous save versions from default branch of the game are unfortunately no longer compatible. If you want to finish your previous game saves, please stay on the main branch for now, or look for branch called "archive-0.5.63" in Steam.

Conquest mode saves from previous versions were also made incompatible, as we changed how progression works in this mode.

Changes that were not previously available on the beta branch of the game were marked with ":coin_gold:".

Big features:

  • CosmeticNew Conquest mode replacing survival modeconquer a whole map, and (in future patches) defeat a powerful dragon! Still in active development, expect significant changes & updates are we continue to complete this mode.
  • :coin_gold: Conquest mode now does not require victory points to progress - claim the tiles and reach final stage before enemy cuts your way off.

  • :coin_gold: You can now select Godbeast that will accompany you in the Conquest mode.

  • New objectives and mission types!

  • New Unit: Angel Gobbo! For now, she is just a hopeful Gobbo that dreams of becoming an Angel, but who knows what future patches will bring!

  • Many units have gained new attacks capable of knocking enemies back.

  • CosmeticReworked poison effectit now deals more damage the more stacks are on the target. There are also new poison specific perks!
  • Added option for experienced units to train other units in Training Hall.

  • Changed UI for making decisions during missions.

  • Completely reworked Creature View UI, along with their equipment!

Smaller changes:

  • Added carpets as decorations.

  • Fixed dungeon doors appearing black.

  • All statue decorations now have an outline and construction VFXs.

  • Halloween props are now brighter.

  • Daily waves no longer reward player with a perk point for defeating them.

  • Made tiles color transition more seamless.

  • Creatures can now gain new titles based on their achievements or personalities. More titles to come soon!

  • Added new mining and farming animations for humanoid units.

  • Added new spellcasting animations for Pebbles and Manjaro.

  • Improved hiding of props on built roads.

  • Made later expansions scale their elements better with size of the expanded area.

  • Added new emotion expressions to Units.

  • Added new dungeon explore flag.

  • Improved Colosseum building model.

  • Added dark highlights to terrain edges.

  • Reworked poise system for units to prevent them getting stun-locked.

  • Added new hotkey that let's you slightly tilt the camera.

  • :coin_gold: Added cool new terrain clicking effects. If for some reason you find them distracting, you can disable them in the settings.

  • :coin_gold: Enabled constructing multiple walls at once by dragging mouse. No, not the Tax Collector. PC mouse.

  • :coin_gold: Units will now more often choose to walk on the built roads, and their speed while walking on
