Where STEM meets sport

Drone Soccer is an innovative team drone sport that originated in South Korea, seamlessly blending traditional football tactics with cutting-edge robotics.

Teams of three or five players control specialized drones, known as "drone balls," which are encased in protective, spherical exoskeletons allowing for full-contact, high-speed collisions.

The objective is to fly a designated scoring drone, the "Striker," through the opponent's circular, elevated goal. The remaining teammates act as guides and defenders, actively ramming and blocking rivals in a high-intensity, three-dimensional arena.

Beyond its appeal as a dynamic spectator sport, Drone Soccer is highly valued globally for promoting crucial STEM skills, as players are responsible for building, programming, and quickly repairing their own aerial machines.
