This update introduces the new Season System, brings several gameplay improvements, visual updates, balancing changes, and important optimizations that significantly improve performance, especially in town.
New Content
Added Seasons. Each season lasts 28 in‑game days.
Added an error/feedback notification system to help players understand why certain actions can not be performed.
Buildings now display a progress indicator above the structure itself, even when not viewed through the UI.
Changes
Crops now only grow during their appropriate seasons. During winter, the world gets covered in snow, but if you prefer the autumn look, you can disable winter snow in the Gameplay-Settings in the main menu.
Tim, the seed vendor in town, now only sells seeds that are available and unlocked in the current season.
Crops will now die when a new season begins if they are not compatible with that season.
The Automatic Crop Harvester has been updated to support the new season system. It will no longer harvest crops that become invalid when a new season begins.
Tutorial quests 5 and 6 can now be skipped.
Updated texture for oak trees.
Added a new texture for dead crops.
Fixes
Fixed two issues that could cause the game to crash.
Optimization
Significant tilemap optimizations, the town should now run with noticeably better performance.
Overall engine improvements for better scalability and smoother gameplay.
