V1.4.0 Another Round!

The Another Round Content Update Is Here!

There are a lot of neat features in this update and I am excited for everyone to try them out! Patch Notes Below! But first, I want to give a big thank you to everyone who has enjoyed Explosive Odds so far. And also a hello to all the new people. I know this update was long delayed from what was originally on the roadmap so apologies for that, life gets in the way sometimes. But it has been a lot of fun working on this game and seeing players enjoy it. We love to see all the gameplay videos, screenshots or faces you draw! With that being said, this is likely the last big update for the game as we are looking to start work on our next project. (And if you are interested in following along on that join our Discord). However, that doesn't mean there wont be a few small updates for tweaks or bug fixes. And I'm never going to take the game or servers down so don't worry about that either! OK, now on to the good stuff.

The Free Demo Is Re-Opening!

The game demo should be up as you are reading this, so if you haven't got the game yet but want to give it a try now is the time! The demo is a content reduced version of the game with the core elements still in tact.

Face Drawing Contest 2!

With the new mouth animation feature it felt like the perfect time to do another face drawing contest. Submit a screenshot, video clip, or gif to the #face-contest channel in the Discord to participate. Submissions will be open until the end of the month (Apr. 30th). A few winners will get their choice of an EO game or DLC key. Oh also, face drawing is available in the demo so feel free to participate even if you don't own the game. Please also read the rules in the discord before submitting.

V1.4.0 Another Round Patch Notes

• Custom Mouth Animations

  • You can now draw two additional mouth frames.

  • These mouth frames will alternate as you speak for custom talking animations.

  • Any previously saved faces will have the default frames now saved with them.

• Main Menu Customization

  • New bot customization area on the main menu.

  • Here you can draw and save faces.

  • You can also equip costumes to see how they look or save in a preset.

• Costume Presets

  • Save all currently equipped costumes to a preset while in the costume menu.

  • Browse and equip presets for easy costume swapping.

• Team Mode

  • New toggleable match setting and rule preset.

  • Players can select to be a part of the Red or Blue team at the start of a match.

  • Teams share one pool of money, spending and receiving.

  • When it is not your turn you may give your abilities to your teammate.

• New 'Bot Calibration' Minigame

  • Complete as many task microgames as you can before time runs out.

  • Player that completes the most wins.

  • 4 New Tasks, these can also appear in the 'Shop' minigame.

• New Room

  • New background room: The Boiler Room.

  • When starting a match it will randomly choose between all available rooms.

• More Drinks

  • When buying a drink from the coaster you will now receive 1 of 5 random drinks.

  • Booze Glass.

  • Sparkly cocktail.

  • Tomato.

  • Molotov.

  • Shotgun.
