We are excited to share with you our first ever video Development Update.
As we continue to work hard to launch Closed Beta this summer, we decided it was time to share an in-depth video of unedited Alpha Gameplay Footage, to show our growing community the state of the Gates of Everforge. Please note, everything in this video is still under development and will be improved.
You can expect significant improvements to everything seen in this video prior to the release of both Closed Beta, as well as Early Access.
Some of the things we are currently working on:
Significant UI improvements.
Simplifying and fast tracking the flow of gear and perks.
Horde enemy AI and general game flow improvement.
Balancing all abilities and enemies.
Major polishing and improvement to the environment for the first map.
All bugs shall be squashed.
One of the major things we are considering right now is whether or not players should respawn after they die in Horde? Should the game be more of a hardcore mode with no respawning?

PS: We know the gameplay audio makes the narration a little hard to hear. We recommend enabling the YouTube subtitles - and we will improve it for the next one!
