So What’s New/Changed?
Dagger Changes
Welcome to Phase 1 of team-based play updates! We’re shifting the focus toward crew-based play and expanding your mobile base with new construction capabilities. To allow for this update we have had to reset the following:
Dagger Vaults
Character Data
Dagger Tech Tree Progression
Dagger Placeables
Here is what’s changing and present in this early version:
Dagger Membership & Social Play
The Dagger is no longer just a solo vessel; it’s now a home for your entire crew.
Permanent Members: You can now invite party members to become Permanent Members of your Dagger.
Persistent Access: Permanent members have individual access to the ship. When you hit Play, you will automatically load into the Dagger where you hold membership.
One Ship Policy: To keep things simple, you can only hold membership in one Dagger at a time.
Communal Vaults: The Dagger Vault is now shared. All players currently in the Dagger, including guests, interact with the same communal storage.
Note: If you are visiting another player's Dagger as a guest, you will access their vault, not your own.
Home Expansion
Need more room for your gear? A new expansion has been hitched to your Dagger.
- New SectionA custom build carriage has been added behind the main Carriage.
The Airlock: Access the new carriage via the new manual Airlock.
Manual Control: Both doors must be opened individually.
Instant Access: There is no purge sequence; doors can be opened from either side at any time.
Construction Limits: The new carriage supports up to 1,000 placeable objects. This limit includes:
Crafting Stations
Decorative items
Functional furniture
Layout Changes
The vault has now changed location, check it out!
Blueprint Printing
The Dagger now requires power in order to print blueprints
You will need to add fuel items to your fuel core receiver to convert them to energy
Blueprints
Most gear now requires a blueprint in order to craft it
You can buy blueprints in shops, find them in loot, or research them from blueprint scraps
You can safely store your blueprints in any base core you can access. Stored blueprints can be used from anywhere!
Refining and Fuel
You can now craft your own Refiners and refine fuel items from Uranium in the safety of your own base - careful, they are expensive!
You can farm Uranium from Resource Nodes
You can also get Fuel shards from fighting the scrappers in the undercarriage
Bots
We now have multiple different types with different behaviours
Scrappers, they are crazed probably from too much gas exposure! They have a chance to drop fuel items as well as blueprint scraps though.
Enforcers, found in markets, no funny business
Supply Drop Guards, dedicated to guarding precious cargo
Class Airlock Guards, you shall not pass
Conductor Guards, personal protection for the top dog
Economy
Class tickets now cost 5 fuel items to craft or can be bought for a high price for credits – these are the only ways to acquire
Added new searchable containers
Improvements & Additions
Resource pick ups at dispensers have now been replaced with farmable nodes
Riot shield has been added as a craftable item
The Mini-Base is now craftable in player crafting
Ladder improvements
UI improvements
