As promised, a new update arrives: new map, new mechanics, and bug fixes. I listened very carefully to your feedback and wishes, and I started fixing them. So, in order:
To release the update you need to restart Steam. Fixes:
Removed the map selection room in the initial lobby; maps now appear when the host starts the session.
Fixed FPS counter issue.
Fixed screen resolution changes.
Lighting in the lobby fixed.
Removed stun with the bat; now players can hit each other and pick up, in connection with the new mechanic.
Audio cue in the lobby fixed.
Notebooks with map descriptions fixed and added.
Inventory fixed.
Voice chat improved.
Emotes menu refined.
Added:

Player kick in the main lobby, a separate tab appeared on the board
New map "Catacombs"
New enemy Maltazar
New lobby music
New lighting type "flashlight"
Updated inventory UI, now the active item is highlighted
New mechanics:
Player revival with a first-aid kit.
Kill a player with the bat.
Refueling canisters in the generator to open the gates.
